Have a look at this guys website (www.robinschwartz.net), I cant' really pinpoint why I like some of his photography, but I do, especially the Primate Portraits section (from which the above photos are taken). The eye contact involved and the fact that the photos capture the individual personality of the primates is of particular interest.
